Project Description

The best place to start once you’ve made the decision to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle, whether the two wheels are in the back or the front. A person that successfully completes this course will be able to demonstrate fundamental skills for general operation and control; demonstrate knowledge of safety considerations for operating on the street; demonstrate safety habits that are shown to reduce risk, and acknowledge personal capabilities and limitations as a 3-wheel motorcycle rider.

Your training includes five hours of formal classroom activities and ten hours of riding instruction.

You may bring your own 3-wheel motorcycle, or one will be provided to you for the duration of the course. Helmets are provided for your use.

At the conclusion of each section, students will take both a written and skills test. Upon the successful completion of this course, (passing both written and skills tests) riders receive a Colorado Motorcycle Operator Safety Training (MOST) Completion Card. This is a waiver of further testing at the Colorado DMV. Just take that card to the DMV and they will add the 3-wheel motorcycle “3” endorsement to your Colorado Driver’s License.

You may earn an insurance discount upon completion of the course.
